Abbie Sawyer & the Flood play alternative folk pop including tracks from the 2022 debut full-length LP, "Love is a Flood." This solo project debuted in Spring 2022 with a sold-out release show, then a mainstage slot at the Des Moines Arts Festival and an All Access live set on Iowa Public Radio. The Diplomettes from Diplomats of Solid Sound banded together to create lush, harmony-driven feely folk for a debut album released in 2023. These long-time friends and bandmates' original songs tell stories about motherhood, personal evolution and friendship. They are part of the Mamas in Music Iowa tour with Abbie & the Sawyers and Awful Purdies.
